There are many factors that affect tolerance such as part size, design geometry, materials, surface finish, features and manufacturing process. Once you place an order to us, we will feedback you with tolerance analysis report or provide you 2D drawing with tolerance if you don’t have 2D drawing.

Some customers think the DFM does help to optimize their design, so they need continues DFM in their design period. However, they are not certail if they will give orders to OrideTech since the price is another important consideration. In this case, OrideTech can provide you DFM for your design.

Before cooperation, OrideTech will sign and adhere to NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), We also have a very strict control system on design files and samples. We keep customer’s prototype samples for 2 years or the final products announced to the market. All of our vendors must sign the NDA and obey all the items in it.

OrideTech has many techniques to support your mechanical prototype sample fabrication including metal parts and plastic parts. OrideTech lead time is quoted in calendar days. So, it is easy for customers to calculate their schedule for receiving the parts. OrideTech also highlight the parts shipping date in PI and email once customer place us an order.

Most time, we provide customer quotation in a day. If some designs are really complex, we need 2 days to provide you the quotation. Anyway, we will email you if the quotation wouldn’t send out in 2 days.

Once customer place an order to OrideTech, it will reply you the schedule and the parts shipping date. If the customer needs to accelerate the schedule for sample fabricating, OrideTech will reset the priority for your project and most time your schedule will push 1-2 days ahead.

We have a standard packing procedure for different prototype sample. For metals parts and plastic parts, we use different packing. If you have some special packing requirements, please email us and we will follow your requirements.

Generally, our quotation has shipping cost. The shipping cost is defined by DHL. If you have shipping agent or account in FedEx or DHL which can get much discount, we can pass the prototype sample to your specified forwarder.
